The Arlington Independence Day Parade is the largest in Texas and one of the biggest in the United States. As the longest-running annual event in Arlington, it has been named the Best Parade of Its Size in Texas for the third consecutive year by the Texas Festivals and Events Association.

Arlington Firecracker 5K – Starting at 7 am

Before the parade steps off, lace up your running shoes for the Arlington Firecracker 5K. Starting at 7 a.m. on July 4, this festive race follows the parade route through Downtown Arlington and begins and ends at the iconic Levitt Pavilion.

The event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and offers a fun, active way to start the holiday before enjoying the day’s festivities.
